Life is a Challenge!

SILLY SATURDAY - AND IT'S A DOUBLE HAT-TRICK!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Hoggy, Spiky and Porlock here on a not-so-sunny morning, having got up just after 7 o’clock to go and have our photograph taken at Hedgehog Walk - and you can see we are almost in the middle of this shot. I wonder how many others have a “Walk” named after them?

We understand too, that for Mrs. HCB this is a DOUBLE HAT-TRICK - which means she has been “on theme” for the challenge for SIX WHOLE DAYS - how exciting is that?

Mr. HCB has decided not to go to Bristol today because we think he probably was in the sun for too long yesterday and he said his head felt a bit muzzy - but he was happy to get up early and take Mrs. HCB to Hedgehog Walk so that she could take this shot for Silly Saturday.

Mrs. HCB spotted this sign a couple of weeks ago when they went to try and deliver some flowers to new members at their Church and you know her, she stored it away, and said that one day she would come back - and today was the day.  We think that dear Admirer would have giggled if she could have seen the HCBs putting us along the top of this sign.

In fact, while Mrs. HCB was taking the photograph, a man came along with his dog at about 7.30 and said “What’s all this about then?”  Mrs. HCB explained about Blip - well you knew she would, didn’t you?  He said that we could do with more silliness in the world and of course, we all agreed with him but Silly Saturday is a start!

So, today will be a day of rest for the HCBs - because no doubt tomorrow will be another busy day.  We know the HCBs will be going to Church and Mrs. HCB is singing and then a friend is coming for the afternoon - and we understand is bringing CAKE - how kind is that?

Speaking of that, you all know that we like to remind you to BE KIND - but I daresay you don’t need that much reminding now - because we are sure that you ARE KIND all the time - sometimes we forget, but then on a Saturday, we remind you and it is also a reminder to us too.

We apologise for Baby Jay being face down - he was a bit over-awed with the photo-shoot - but he soon came round when we mentioned we were going home to have bacon sarnies!!

Have a great weekend - sending love to you all,
Hoggy, Spiky and Porlock xxx

P.S.  The HCBs have just been to Morrison's to collect lots of food for the Community Fridge and they saw this little dog called Ruby waiting for her master - Mrs. HCB said she needs a trike like this - see extra!
