Meadow Buttercup (or Leaning to the Light 2)
Ranunculus acris
Members of the buttercup family aren't the easiest to tell apart, particularly if you haven't taken careful note of the leaf formation (tsk tsk!). Nevertheless I'm reasonably confident this is a half-opened ranunculus acris, or Meadow Buttercup blipped on my rather short walk this morning.
Also this morning I went into town to buy a paper shredder as mine's died. In this way I discovered it was the MayFest (lots of folkie stuff going on) so realised I should have taken my camera, but the truth is I've blipped from the event for so many years I was actually quite happy to give it a rest.
And here we are, Saturday evening after a pretty tough week and I'm absolutely bushed, so I hope you will forgive me dear blipfriends if I turn off my comments for tonight. I will of course visit your journals to enjoy your lovely images for today and will scatter hearts and stars. Take care and have a lovely Saturday night/ Sunday morning xx
