And It Has Started...

There was a morning run to the dump followed by a bit of shopping.
I don't know what Morrisons are up with their pricing at the moment .... well, I do actually - they are working on the assumption that people will see "2 For...£" and the "3 For...£" deals on certain lines without looking at the price of a single item not marked up with 'deal' price printed on it. They should do because we saved a fair bit. Their other trick is titling something as 'The Best' and whacking up the price compared to the standard product when I am betting 90% of people will not taste any difference. 

The kitchen cupboards were emptied and everything boxed up put in the garage before the fitters arrive tomorrow.
However, my two neighbours who expressed an interest in the wall cabinets turned up after lunchtime and in no time had them off the wall and spirited them away. They then returned a few minutes later and took the fridge/freezer out to the garage.
The absolute gents that they are insisted on doing it all themselves as I was being good enough in gifting them the cabinets. (Or maybe they just don't trust my DIY skills). One of them is going to use them as 'rodent proof' storage for his motorbike helmets and boots (he had the lining of a helmet destroyed at his last house by mice). I am not sure what the other ones are going to be used for - but 'there is a project in mind' with the other new owner.
