California Lilac

 outside and doing dissipated those feelings. 

Started off with a trip to Margiotta for croissants but they only had filled ones (before 9!) so I bought apricot. Ate then outside with coffee.

It was blue skies and sun, again, but later there were wispy clouds but still warm. I got to work. Put out the rest of the pots and baskets, sprayed the hostas and roses with my garlic spray, emptied the Dalek and used the contents to mulch the roses, touched up bits of the shed and furnitures, tried to fix the bike failed), washed the car, watered the front.  It was so good to being doing things. The robin accompanied me as I worked but couldn't get a photo. 

I did sort in the sun for a bit but there was some more cloud coming down from there NE and it was getting windy. 

Used the change in weather to go down to the Manor, pot up a few plants, look for photos (another fail), and talk to Mum. 

There was a road closure on the way back so a diversion. There were dark clouds amassing but so far no rain.

Didn't turn out such a bad day after all.
