A Colourful Field

I founds this nice colourful field - near to the old windmill - this morning. Looked good in the sunshine - some nice clouds in the sky too. Looks much better in large!

There are thousands of bright red poppies and purple Phacelia (which I found nearby a couple of weeks ago)

There are also loads of another (new to me) flower - Crimson Clover - although I did see some on blip recently.

I have added a couple of extras showing these

I believe that these are all ‘planted’ to help improve the soil…so not technically ‘wild flowers’…
