From Minsmere to Longshaw

Today we went to Minsmere again, where some years ago we were present when Springwatch was being filmed. This year, Springwatch will be coming from our own NT Longshaw - very exciting. 
Today we went to look for Stone Curlews and found them close by where they have been in previous years, although very far away so even the best image I managed to capture was not vey sharp and heavily cropped for inclusion in extras. My main image is a Four-spotted Skimmer. There are lots of dragonflies around - I suspect the warm Spring has been good for them
