Farcical

In the true sense of the word I enjoyed farce last night in the form of a play at The Mill at Sonning .
There has a been a mill on this island site in the Thames since Domesday but when Huntley and Palmers Biscuit factory in nearby Reading closed in 1969 the last flour was milled. It has now been converted into an excellent Dinner Theatre.
It was a long coach ride but we were pleased to see that the bar was open when we arrived. There followed a very good meal before we gathered in the intimate theatre to see "Who's Under Where", a farce which involved brilliantly timed opening and shutting of bedroom doors and jealous husbands dressing in ladies lingerie! Well produced and very funny.
