Seahouses

That’s more like it.
A beautiful, warm, blue sky day. So we made an early start over to Seahouses. I had booked J9 on a 2 hour boat trip around the Farne Islands. She has been a lifelong twitcher, and always wanted to see puffins.
I would have loved to join her, but the dog is getting frail and has very little sight, so couldn’t be left alone for hours.
Anyway, j9 saw more puffins* (& other birds) than either of us expected. Looked fantastic.
Me & the mutt shuffled along the beach for an hour or so, I drank coffee, then he snored in the car until it was time to collect J9.
We then indulged in a cracking, but huge, haddock & chips* before driving back to the cottage.
Perfect day.
