Of Hay and the Church
Another good day including planting out Mrs W’s cucumbers (would you believe in front of the wall garden – photos to follow I’m sure) and tidying up the BBQ area on the patio (I’m sure there will be photos of that at some time too).
A grand walk with Biskit this morning – our big one – about 2 miles (don’t laugh, it’s all this old codger can manage these days, and then only with a good rest in the playing field on the way back.
Our route takes us through the field between East Street and doctor’s lane. They were harvesting the hay yesterday, and this morning the field was covered in hay bales. I thought they made a good picture with the sun behind them, and took a few shots including the 180 degree pano at extra. Not as good as I hoped, and it took a lot of PS to get it as it is; the sun in the east made such a contrast with the west it took two passes through basic development.
The blip phot was taken from the Doctors Lane end of the foot path and included the church and houses as Architecture. Many thanks to BobsBlips for hosting WidWed.
