Rain!

Today is my last in the Faroe Islands - for this trip! When I got up I saw that it had rained overnight, and the cloud was below the summits of the mountains across the fjord, but it soon lifted. I spent the day working, including one call with И in the morning, and another in the afternoon with a company with whom we're about to start a consultancy contract. After that, I went down to the alcohol shop with the aim of recycling my Föroya Bjór "Jolly" (cola) bottles, but it was shut. It gave me the chance to take a photo from a different location. In saying that the Faroes were "mountains and football", one thing I overlooked was fishing. It accounts for 90% of Faroese exports, and a good amount of the GDP. Not all the boats are small like this, Fuglafjørður (pop 1600) recently became home to an 86m $50m trawler.

I've now finished all the food in the flat, except for what I'll eat for breakfast, but I won't get through all the beer. I'll leave it for my host Alex (since Kirsten drinks wine) since I only have hand luggage.

All that remains is to pack, watch the Europa League final, and maybe have a last trip up Klakkur to see the sunset
