UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE

Got the bus to the Metrocentre this morning for my appointment at the Eye Clinic.  Saw a doctor I hadn't seen before.  He had looked at the two glaucoma tests and scans but he said that because I am VERY short sighted it was difficult to diagnose whether I had glaucoma.  So he decided he will  check again after I have had cataract surgery.  He said this should be done ASAP.   When I went to reception I was offered an appointment for tomorrow to do the surgery.  Short notice ... and not convenient as I'm off to Yorkshire on Friday.  So they have booked me in to have my right eye done on 2nd June. And I think the left eye will be done soon after.   And when things settle down he will do the glaucoma checks again.

After my appointment I went in search of my blip shot for Wide Wednesday - the theme is ' Architecture '.   My blip shows the very first Upside Down House in the North East situated just outside the Yellow Mall of the Metrocentre..  ( Ive seen a similar one in Brighton). Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting.

After doing a bit of shopping I got a bus home.  I had just got off the bus when my phone rang.  It was the " new cat lady boss ".  Nicola - the cat lady who is coming to look after Tino and Lily at the weekend -  was due  here at 6.30pm to pick up a key and get a bit of useful info about the cats.  The boss wanted to know if NIcola could come at 3pm instead.  It was 2.30pm so I said it was OK for her to come at 3pm.  I quickly unpacked the shopping and did a bit of tidying before she arrived.

Nicola was lovely  and Tino was very friendly towards her so that's a good sign.  Lily of course was nowhere to be seen.  Nicola has 6 cats of her own so shes definitely " a cat lady ".  She was here for around 30 mins.. We chatted about cats... and Newcastle United.

Weather today was nice again - sunny and warm.
