Capital adventures

Hills

After a good night's sleep I had a good swim.  Home I did some apartment admin and reeled at an electricity bill.  The clouds had cleared and it was another beautiful day of blue skies and sun.

I decided to take a run up to Mortonhall and the Garden Centre to get a few things and as usual probably more than I really need. The Pentlands, Caerketton and Allermuir, were looking very bonny.

Home for lunch and then off to the Lyceum for a session on voice which was really good fun even if playing 'whoosh' proved a step too far for some of us. After I took a bus up to another theatre, the Festival, and had something to eat, and drink. Wish I'd brought my book.  I sat in the middle and people watched.

Final event tonight was the Choir Concert.  We had a good crowd and I think it went ok, though there some wobbles towards the end.  Ended the evening by catching up with WDYTYA, Aisling Bea. The temperature has dropped.  Maybe the sunny spell has ended.
