Waterlily
Its been one of those days... endless in a weird way. Little Man had nursery this morning, and is back to his normal, happy self. He went running in and waved goodbye to me through the window with a big smile on his face. He had a lovely morning and when I went to collect him, he walked out with some goodies. Three kids in his nursery group have turned four and, as is Dutch tradition, the children all brought gifts in for their classmates. These three kids should be moving up to group 1 (the first year of primary school) next week.
We came home and hung out for a while. Little Man was a bit clingy and even though he did play by himself, it was for short bursts. He'd then come back to me and watch my attention or help, so I was grateful that I'd got dinner going, in the slow cooker, before I went to collect him from nursery.
We popped out to drop off a bag of Little Man's clothes that don't fit before heading to the nearby playgroup. As we were walking there I saw this waterlily blossom and had to take a photo. I knew straight away that it was going to be shared on here.
We meet up with some of the other mums from our church at the park, but it was very busy. So we didn't stay long. Little Man did enjoy running around and burning off some steam before we came home and had dinner. I'd ordered a new screen protector for my Samsung Galaxy S24 (I'm not taking any risks with my new phone) and one of two other things, which arrived whilst Little Man was in the bath. We had a lot of fun unpacking them. Then Little Man went to bed. He's very tired and has gone down without any issue. I'm hoping he sleeps well tonight as he's back to nursery tomorrow.
I've spent the day waiting for a payment to come through, but, frustratingly, it hasn't arrived yet and could take up to two days (I'm not sure if that's calendar days or business days). We'll have to wait and see what happens.
