The Adventures …

… continue.

We got into San Diego last night around 7:00 pm, collected our rental car and drove to my Mom’s.  And getting mom hugs by 8:40 pm!

We had a leisurely morning before heading out to one of our favorite parks here in San Diego County … Double Peak Park.  We like this park not only for the spectacular views but for the possibility of seeing hummingbirds. 

It was quite hazy today at the park but we still enjoyed ourselves.  I’ve added into Extras a shot of my mom and BIL, Harvey enjoying the view.  My sister and BIL’s dog Sallie is also in the shot … sort of!  My main shot is a Western Fence Lizard that I saw as we were coming down off this hill. 

We returned to mom’s house after this to have lunch.  And then we just relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.  Later on we drove to our niece and her husband’s new home to spent the evening there. They have a lovely house and we had a great time visiting with them.

We were back to Mom’s late … and tired.  We didn’t stay up for very long before heading to bed.

Tomorrow is going to another full one …
