THE BIRTH OF A POPPY.

Noticed this lovely poppy at 6.30am and then took a shot of it when it opened at lunchtime. Yesterday evening I rubbed down the little bridge, and painted it this afternoon. Thankfully it is dry before the rain arrives. It has been a lovely day. A book I am going to try and read arrived today, it is The Salt Path by Raynor Winn. Just hope it is sunny as I can read in sunlight, but not artificial light.
