Work

Today I woke at 05:30, but managed to get back to sleep, waking again at 08:30 after a “crushingly” deep sleep. Hence, after breakfast, I had to stay at home to take a call with the external supervisor of one MSc project for which I’m internal. I then went into work, where I caught up with intern I,  answering her questions and having lunch with her. PhD student Y joined us, and after I’d done some work on HiGHS documentation, I spent over an hour with her, going through the slides that she’d produced for her three hours of research lectures that she’ll be delivering on Monday.

By the time I Ieft, the sky had clouded over, ending our long spell of sunny weather, and at the end of my evening walk with Django there was steady light rain - which is exactly what we need.
