Anticipation

An early morning walk around Aigues-Mortes before the crowds arrived... and then I caught the bus to Saint-Laurent d'Aigouze.
A B & B there, with its wonderful name - "The Extending Table" - will be our group's base for the coming 3 days.
This is the outdoor dining table in the courtyard, waiting for our small group to assemble for dinner. It's a truly convivial place.
Apart from more cheerful topics, we talked about the death of Sebastiao Salgado, reported today. A photographer whose work has made a lasting difference in the world.
