Rose

Didn't go to the allotment today, due to predictions of rain tonight. Fingers crossed. Did lots of other chores, spoke with DG again, fiddled about with flyer for Free fringe shows.

Picked a couple of blooms yesterday off the rambling rose that's been doing nothing much at the back border for.....about twenty years...but seems to have taken off this year. I bought it at Woolworth's in the Kirkgate, which sadly hasn't existed for a long time. Once the flowers are fully open it's almost completely peachy-yellow, and has a delicate scent. No idea what it's called.....
