Synchronised Herefords

The cattle are out beside the Abbey this afternoon. There were several calves including this pair doing their routine. They're such lovely cows and always placid. Just as well as they're right by the footpath. 

Yesterday went well. We only made about £250 which isn't much for the effort involved but there are benefits other than financial ones. Lots of opportunities to chat to the competitors and organisers as well as sell some items. We were able to help one rider who had forgotten bring her boots. Long black boots size 6 - here you go!  Hope they brought her luck. It was wet at times but nothing like last year thank goodness. 

It was very wet overnight. Today is windy but sunny. It isn't a bad day. I've done some gardening and everything looks so much cheerier now that it's had a proper watering.
