Peony

Another really wet night and a day of heavy showers. Not warm either. 

Aren't peonies the most delightful plants. I was just discussing them yesterday with my sister. They are temperamental though and I've never found them easy to grow. This is by far my most successful peony plant but it only has five or six blooms. They are beautiful though so here is one bud starting to open. 

Spent a bit of time visiting a neighbour this morning. She is the young woman whose yoga class I used to go to. She's not been well for ages and unable to teach. It's such a shame as I always enjoyed her classes. She's hoping to be able to offer some online classes soon.  I'll definitely go if I can. 

Made cheese scones, took Flora for a walk and ended up caught in a downpour. Grrr. I will be going to yoga tonight - an hour of calm which actually lasts 75 minutes most weeks.
