Nothing to do with Pythagoras
... Although they are squares on a triangle - just not hypotenuses or a right angled triangle for that matter, but it is what came to mind
I was in bed by 9pm last night and slept right through to almost 7 this morning. Such a relief to have yesterday over. Sunday today though so it was business as usual and off to church. Andrew pushed a wonderful sermon on hope.
Meanwhile I reported back to the congregation about yesterday and reminded them that we had more interviewing ahead, so there was going to be no white smoke up the chimney for another week!
Back home I poured over my interview sheets trying to avoid and compare and come up with a favourer candidate. It's not easy and I had forgotten how hard I find it to judge people. I used to interview regularly but not since I retired. I'm making progress though.
We had a lazy dinner today with antipasti and some nice bread from Waitrose.
Today's blip is of some rather delightful little food covers I picked up in the sale when the Home Store closed. I'd forgotten about them. I thought they might come in handy at our Congregational lunches. The organiser didn't laugh out loud when I showed her but we did agreed they'd make people smile.
They are so delightfully twee, but they'll come in handy!
