Only 40?

The viewing of the photos last night was bearable as she’d cut it down, though we did get a detailed account of each one. However we all had a good catch up and enjoyed the Cremante.

Unfortunately my knee is as painful as it was before the injection. On our return I’m going to have to do the unthinkable and go privately in order to get a scan and another opinion as to what’s causing such pain. Today, apart from sorting stuff out to pack, has been about lying on the sofa, reading my art book and finishing 0 Caledonia. Then I knitted a bit more of the blanket triangles. I’ve done 6 now. It’s quite a complex pattern.

Newcastle ended up 6th in the league - only a week ago they were 3rd. But that’s still good, very good. And here’s another Geordie joke, if you can bear it. A woman, perusing a travel brochure, said to her husband, “Where’s Warsaw?” He replied “It’s in the shed.”

I’m almost at the stage of asking BA for special assistance at the airport, as all the standing and trekking to various stages will be arduous.

I found this very small book amusing. I like the key but I’m surprised he could only find 40.
