This is a screen shot of a video we took of us changing Ben’s insulin pump to share with new residential support workers, it’s a bit clunky(!) but we thought it might be a useful resource on top of all the more professional ones on YouTube!!
He’s a bit wired today, he has his ordinary carers tomorrow and he really doesn’t want to go, so we’re fielding a lot of whinging. And he’s talking incessantly about the new setting.. I’m hoping he goes ok with the carers tomorrow as I’m definitely feeling a bit frazzled with him! Mr KCNQ2Haiku has had to use some of his bank holiday to set off to London as he has a meeting first thing tomorrow, so with that and the rain it’s feeling like a bit of a damp bank holiday Monday!
