Mediterranean Blues

Today Mrs CBL and I walked round to Cala Nova and then on a short distance to Cala Mayor.  By this time we were on the outskirts of Palma.

Yesterday I mentioned the Spanish Royal Family spent their summer at Marivent Palace (see extras).  I was misled by Wikipedia into thinking it was close to Portals Nous when, in fact, it is a few miles further north-east in Cala Major.

The Royal Family spend time with their guests in Portals but stayed in Cala Major.  These guests, over the years, have included Prince Charles and Lady Diana, the Clintons, Mikhail Gorbachev and Michele Obama.
