Mama Catz

it's a big, big yawn,  from this litle cat as she'd just woken up for tea when Rufus and I appeared on the patio. Her afternoon nap is usually on the top of the dog crate so she doesn't miss anything.... just Like Harry does in England. I miss him but get regular updates from bro and niece and he's clearly doing just fine.

It was quite a full day starting when having walked the woofer, I left him at home and took the Dolmus (mini bus) to Blue Lagoon to meet Gaby, Janice and John whereupon the four of us drove in to Didim. By then it was time for an early lunch at Park cafe who only serve traditional 'just like your mother makes' Turkish cuisine to the locals. Yum. From there we had several diverse shopping needs - curtain hooks, pet food, ceramic garden pots and a door handle. The last of this list proved unattainable in Didim so we all went to Akbuk but Gaby couldn't find what she needed there either. Missions mostly accomplished, treated ourselves with some delicious goat's milk ice cream before going to my villa for a leisurely beer on the patio and also, bath time for Rufus !!  Gaby helped me - well in fact she did most of the work really - "we" washed him in the garden and although it's not his favourite pastime, he was very well behaved, as always, and dried to a big fluff ball very quickly in the late afternoon sunshine. 

After J & J and Gaby had gone home I had a 90 minute video call with mbfiatw Jean catching up on all our news.  the rest of the evening was mostly Netflix!
