Feeling a bit woozy today - nauseous and a bit of a headache, so I declined an invite to a friend's house this afternoon, but JR had a lovely time. 

I did manage to take Archie out round the Links in the afternoon, though. I was expecting a parcel, so I left the front door open, but inside door locked, just in case, so any sensible postie would put the parcel behind the door... actually, I was back in when it arrived.

We went for our walk during a sunny patch. Very windy - but a warm wind for a change. But when we got to the park, a big whirlwind suddenly swooped in, with rain! There were lots of branches down (from earlier) and I was a wee bit worried about flying branches. Then we came to this humungous broken branch. Two of them in fact, and they were whoppers. Right over the path.

My parcel arrived, and it's one of those walking stick/seats things. I think I'll need it in London, and definitely on my cruise(s) on the tours. I think it'll be great, and it's not too heavy. Besides, it comes with a case that I can sling over my shoulder, if I find that I prefer my walking stick. 

I'm LOVING looking out the window to the beautiful clipped hedge!
