Morning view

Today's photo is the view from the roof balcony at J & J's villa, where I stayed overnight.  

After walking the dog and having a quick brunch with Gaby, she brought me and the woofer back home to Akbuk, where we also did a little shopping before she then returned to her home at BL, Fevzi Paşa.   I then had a quiet afternoon suposedly doing some clearing up, but in reality, spent most of it knitting. I've started a 'Fish and Chips' baby's jumper * - a project that Janice told me about. Nice way to use up the yarn stash. 

Heavy rain, thunder and lightning started around 3pm, as forecast, and it was gone 6pm before it abated. When Gaby, John and Janice all arrived around 6.30 for us to go to Sahara for Friday Fish and Chips we decided to drive rather than walk through all the puddles, and leave Rufus at home as he would have got very soggy!   Jackie and Nick arrived at the restaurant not long after us and the six of us enjoyed a last evening all together as Gaby leaves tomorrow evening to start her 24 journey back home to South Africa.
