Falling Foss

We decided to walk today and enjoyed the woodland alongside the Little Beck flowing in the valley below our campsite. At one point the river flows over the highest waterfall in the North York Moors, Falling Foss, 20 metres high. Above the waterfall is a super tea garden which proved to be very popular, although by the time we arrived quite a few folk were drifting off and we were able to enjoy a peaceful cuppa in readiness for the steep walk back up to the campsite. The extra is the view above the valley, close to our base.
