North, south, east or west?

A dull, windy day today, not really tempting me outside. I've been carrying on with my Irish holiday stuff - daily write-ups mostly. 

u3a Poetry Group tomorrow. I've been trying to remember poems that I knew as a kid, poems that I've always liked. It's surprisingly hard! Some are far too long to read out, such as 'Pied Piper' or 'Hiawatha'! I've chosen 'Abou Ben Adhem' by Leigh Hunt and 'On the Departure Platform' by Thomas Hardy as my two to read out.

After lunch I went down to the car dealer where i bought my car, needing to discuss a small point. I went last Friday but he was closed and a note on the door said 'Open on Monday'. Today the note said 'Closing at two, open on Tuesday'! I really should phone first!

I popped up to Pulpit Hill - this is a general view over Oban, unfortunately sunless. My extra today is of the refurbished toilets there.  I'm confused - I've heard of sexual orientation, but geographical orientation?
