Melon and children

Yet another crazy day! There was a u3a meeting at the Corran Halls this morning - a talk on a member's safari in Botswana last October. A really fascinating talk. I arranged to walk down with a friend and got soaked! As we prepared to walk home afterwards the sun was shining from a blue sky - a good opportunity to dry our clothes. As we set off the heavens opened - fortunately we got a lift home!

This afternoon was our u3a Poetry Group meeting. I get a lift from a nearby friend, so managed to stay dry. A great afternoon of poetry reading - the next meeting won't be until September, so plenty of time to think about the next collection.

As we sat in the convenor's house I found my eye attracted to a bowl containing a melon and five lemons - my Blip today!
