Starlings

Suddenly, the garden seems full of starlings. This little family were availing themselves of the wildlife drinking water bowl which, despite being filled yesterday, was already nearly empty.

I went to the Atrium late morning to deliver £90 worth of cards to put in the stand, and The Traveller’s girlfriend T took a break from work to accompany me for a coffee. She hadn’t been before, so I showed her around the site and I was able to introduce her to lots of our friends, some of whom had just emerged from a staff meeting. I think she was impressed by the friendliness of the place, and the number of mums, babies and toddlers who were milling around. The coffee wasn’t bad, either!
