Bun
I took my car in for its annual service this morning, and then caught a train into Manchester.
I had three stops for refreshment during the day.
Stop one, a coffee at the Contact Theatre. Minding my own business I was approached and asked if I was George. I said no I was not - thus it seems missing out on an audition for a part in Rumpelstiltskin, this coming winter season’s pantomime.
Stop two was lunch at the Manchester Museum, which has just won the accolade of European Museum of the Year. Well deserved. Unusually for a museum it has a well stocked vivarium, with a fascinating collection of largely tiny tree frogs. The extra is a golden mantella, which has a severely restricted range in part of Madagascar.
Stop three was at Ditto, I am here a bit early awaiting the arrival of a friend for a catch up. In truth, this blueberry bun is not so tiny.
