Wild Strawberry

………. There seems to be quite a lot of self seeded wild strawberry plants popping up in the garden - in the most inconvenient places!
There are lots of flowers on them and I spotted this fruit on one of them ……… I’m not a big fan of strawberries and neither is hubby, so I usually leave them for the birds and then pull them out in the autumn but there always seems to be others that pop up in different places year after year ;-)

Plus an extra of my new ‘old’ sofa back from the upholsterers - he’s done an excellent job and I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out, it looks ( and feels) like a brand new sofa. He said it had a really good, sprung interior and solid frame and would last another 30 years. Not bad considering it’s already around 30 years old ;-))
The biggest challenge is going to be how to stop naughty Bear from using it as a scratching post - he really is a devil for doing that, even though there are scratching posts all over the house :-/
