Splendid

Swimming in the river on a work day is more achievable since part of my week can be worked remotely.

Yvonne, recently back from Amsterdam. was able to join me and we had an enjoyable swim.  We shared parkrun stories from the weekend and hers seemed infinitely more relaxing.

It is national volunteering week so I have to remind myself about how my short term discomfort is a small price to pay for helping bring parkrun joy to so many.

I've inspired Y to decorate a bedroom and am looking forward to a progress update tomorrow.
