Stonecrop
This is our last day before returning to TN. We have so many last minute chores. I changed the bed linens and collected enough laundry for two small loads. Will take care of them later this evening after showers. Hubby gathered all the trash and recycling. He dropped it off at the convenience center, picked up another prescription for me, bought distilled water for my iron and came home. He mowed the lawn and picked up all the weeds and undesirable volunteer plants I had pulled from various gardens while he was gone. This stonecrop plant that my sister gave me is flowering this year. The various ground cover plants I have scattered in my gardens keep down seeds. We fed and watered the birds, I watered all house plants, cleaned the kitchen, ironed a ton of clothes, and made lunch - tacos. My foot was screaming so I am on the recliner and hubby is napping. River has a t-ball game this evening. We are going for a few innings. Hubby will take me but he has election of his KofC council’s officers and really should go to that meeting. That way I can finish laundry before it gets too late. He will load the van when he gets home. All this traveling sure helps keep the house clean. But so much work…. Wishing you a calm evening. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. I read more journals today. Still more to do. “A garden adorned with yellow flowers is a masterpiece of nature’s artistry.” – Unknown
