Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Morning Beach

The day began grey and overcast but we decided to go to Morning Beach anyway. It’s a sweet sandy beach on the east side of Galiano looking out to the Straits of Georgia. We didn’t get there until late morning but by 12:30 the sky showed some blue patches and it got better and better all afternoon. The few people who were there had left by 12:30 or so and we had it to ourselves. Tatum is way off to the left working on her 100th blip! (HERE_Hi how ya doin Spray)With my camera. A short stop at a grocery, and then we had lunch out -Nachos! at the cafe at Montague Marina. It was crowded and took quite awhile, but fun, and I didn’t have to make it :-)

After we got home, I hit the wall- too much activity and noise and commotion - I had to lay down (with a cup of coffee) quietly for 1/2 hour while the boys went out in the inflatable. These 3 never stop - they are always laughing or singing or wrestling or playing videos on my ipad or just plain talking as loud as possible.(at last there is almost no crying!) But help is on the way! Tomorrow the parents arrive -and 3 yo Fiona.

Had some nice photos of this different view of the Gulf Islands but I don’t have the time or the energy to play with them so I put this quick panorama together from 5 shots which gratefully includes some blue and will post some more on the camp set.... tomorrow....
