Caught in the act

I was sorting out laundry in the utility room, when I spotted this guy stealing the bird feed. Now I know why it needs refilling twice a day at the moment. 

Oh dear! Greys are not welcome in these parts as the reds only just hang on to their territory.

My car went for service to Wall. It was collected and returned. There is some work to do, but nothing urgent, so I am all set to go north next week.

I did more sorting, finding more treasures, but also being quite ruthless about some things that had to go.

Julie came during the afternoon. I had promised to put the Guardian newspaper app on her phone. She pays a subscription and already has it on her iPad. Like many of these things, what looks like a very simple task was not! Passwords for Apple and Google were needed. Julie has several email addresses; most are not in use. (On another day I need to get rid of them!)

After about 20 minutes, I succeeded in sorting the problem.

Julie took me out for a meal tonight. She has been wanting to do this since she stayed here after her knee replacement. We went to the Red Lion in Newbrough. The food was delicious and we both had 3 courses. (My diet resumes tomorrow!)

Another very pleasant day.
