Flower Friday
These came in a bouquet of flowers but I have no idea what they are. It is raw sort of day do I don’t feel like going out more than necessary to search in the garden.
We got up late and since then I have done my daily sudoku and sewn up the seams of the granny blanket. I’m never sure if I will like my craft until I am finished, at this time I’m not thrilled but I am sure it will look better when finished. I have also read a few more chapters of my book Yours Cheerfully by AJPearce. At the moment the heroine is helping fight for rights amongst women factory workers in WW2. You can’t tell a book by its cover they say. Honestly ladies, we have come a long way.
Janet looked up the name of these flowers…Billy Buttons or Woollyheads. Pycnosorus globosus (sounds like a type of dinosaur). It is an Australian native plant.
