Singing in the rain...

Although I wasn't!!  I was grumbling in the rain!The forecast was for late morning rain today, so I headed out thinking I'd be safe for my short wander... I was wrong! The heavens opened while I was halfway through a farmers field so thankfully I found a tree nearby to shelter under until it stopped!

Did get to spot a few warblers in my very brief stop at the reserve before heading back thinking it might rain again - think this is a soggy reed warbler, that or a sedge warbler!  But I did get to bump into the man I helped rescue kittens with a few weeks ago and there is a happy ending to that story as all 3 kittens have been adopted by the same family - they went for 1 kitten and left with 3 haha!
