Robin at large

Palamos

By the morning the ship had stopped rocking and we had arrived in Spain. We are in a small resort moored near some very expensive looking yachts. Again we are able to walk ashore without needing a shuttle bus.

The town centre is quite small, and before long we found ourselves walking through the suburbs of the town. After the obligatory cappuccino we walked back into town. We hoped to find a bar for lunch overlooking the beach. We discovered that much of the beach boulevard was a huge construction site at the moment. The other bars and restaurants we found next to the town centre and the beach were a bit too touristy.

Walking away from the tourist part of the town centre we found a very very nice tapas restaurant. No tourists, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I am not sure where we were when we were at the restaurant, but all roads lead back to the sea eventually, and so we were able to find the ship again.
