Amanita?

This beauty is growing near what looks to be a Fly Amanita (extra), so I think it might be in the Amanita family.
I’m pretty sure that it is poisonous.
Google says that Fly Amanita has a long history as an inebriant, used by the Russian shamans to induce visions among their tribe members.  
Wow! I wonder if that is true.
