Oh dear me.

Apparently the local sign makers don't proofread before creating the nameplates.  

The replacer of the nameplate replaced the wrong one, I gather - the one that had been here was worn, but not defaced. The badly defaced one at the other side of the drive was the one destined for replacement.

Still, it's been causing local entertainment.
