Pentecost eve

I really don't know why we have Pentecost eve, like Christmas eve or Easter eve you seem to do different things on these eves where ever you are. I can't remember ever doing something special on Pentecost eve, so I'm doing that this year as well. "Pingst" or Pentecost in english, means flowers, birdsongs, green and a trailer for Midsummers eve. 

I've been painting today, of course, all the white is done too now, tomorrow I'll borrow a high scaffold from my friends. It's still chilly, for being 7th of June, and windy too so painting was done in a fleece jacket most of the time.
