Lathkill dale

We decided to call in at the bench on the way up north. I realised that we have been making this journey regularly for 19 years. Time flies… The wood was oiled and the plaques polished before, dodging the showers, we walked up to the pub in Over Hadden for lunch overlooking the dale. We continued on to our Airbnb, a small modern house on an estate close to where we will be visiting our latest grandchild. We have the whole house for six days and it is well equipped and comfortable. We can now chill out a little having been rushing around for the last few days travelling and trying to sort out what to do with the unoccupied house. It should go on the market this week.
