First
First loco to ever run under the bridge - in particular, on a section of track I didn't expect to be connected! It so happened that the neighbouring module also had a 2nd track, and got connected up.
A good day. Not actually having anything to run myself (though I was offered loans of trains, but the tracks were more than busy enough) I spent a lot of time chatting to people on the outside of the layout.
I may also have wandered around and bought stuff - but then that's what the show is primarily for.
Regular guests S&F travelled down to have a look and we had a good catch-up over lunch. E made use of the adjacent horse-drawn canal boat trips, returning for the moderately chaotic post-show dismantling. A reversal of roles from the flower shows.
We met up with the one remaining engineer who was staying on overnight for a meal. Unfortunately, Llangollen was busier than anticipated and we ended up at a singularly unsatisfactory restaurant, but had a good chat anyway.
