Dolly's Day

14th Blip Birthday

Today marks 14 years since I started blipping. I love being part of this wonderful community. Thank you to everyone who comments on my blips and gives them a star or a heart. And thanks to the folk who are behind the scenes keeping the site running smoothly.  I've made many friends on this site and its extra special to have met a lot of you in person.  Blipmeets are great.

For Tiny Tuesday and my blip birthday I used some beads from a beading set which was part of a prize package I won recently.  The prize included some stickers which I gave to Astrid as well as a drawing tablet and these beads. The  beading set is for age 8 upwards so no good for Astrid yet.  The beads  are tiny and the set came with some tweezers to help you pick them up. As well as my blip I also made a bracelet to wear when I go to the Newcastle matches.... you can see it in my Extra photo. Thanks to dbifulco for hosting Tiny Tuesday - there is no theme this week.

Slept Ok last night but still didn't want to get up this morning... I was too cosy.  Eventually stirred myself and around 12.15pm set off to walk to the village - I had an appointment at the Health Centre for my Annual Review.  I got weighed, had my blood pressure taken ( twice - as it was high the first time ) and some blood was taken.  I was given a sample bottle for urine which I will return tomorrow.

Afterwards I carried on to the village shops and stocked up with fruit and veg ... trying to get back to eating healthily.

The weather was sunny and quite warm so I did a bit of " light " gardening.

Then I went back to bed for an hour and a half.

Watched the England game this evening.  Final score was England 1 Senegal 3.  A poor performance from England.
