Clearing up day

It's been a terrific summer day on my island today and I took it easy, spending time on things that has been neglected lately, due to painting. Doing the laundry, putting tools in their right places, going to the recycling with things to throw away, shopping...

I even started cutting the very long grass, using a borrowed mower from one of my landlords neighbours, his own broke down a couple of weeks ago (thankfully) and I keep wondering how long he can put off getting a new one, or a used one, for himself and his tenants. The grass in my meadow-area are now over waist hight and I need to make some paths through it so I can get access to all the places I need to go, without picking up ticks on the way.
