Sally and Kirsty

Mr P and I played our first game of tennis this morning now that we’ve joined the Peebles Lawn Tennis Club. It wasn’t a big success. Mr P is in another league (my tennis skills are non existent) and to top it all he inadvertently hit me in the eye with a tennis ball!
The afternoon thankfully was much better. It was lovely and sunny in the Harmony Garden at the Borders Book Festival and then we attended an excellent event with Sally Magnusson and Kirsty Wark (they’re great friends) in the evening.
