Butterflies galore!

It was a fine sunny day today, but not too hot, so I thought it would be a good day to visit the butterfly display at Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park downtown. This is a temporary summer display, from May through mid August. The theme this year is called Gothica Botanical, where some Gothic design elements were set amongst largely dark foliage and deep hued blooms. We timed it just right, as they were doing timed entrances on the hour, and we got there just in time to go in. It’s wonderful to see all the different sizes , colours and patterns of the different butterflies.
In the afternoon, R went to the “Y” for an outside swim, but I wanted to go to the garden center at Pipkins to get some plants for my patio containers -
I’m a bit late getting them in this year.
