Flower Friday

This is the orchid I blipped on Monday, Im pleased to report some of the flowers are opening. It is always nice to get some flowers after looking after a plant for years with nothing. 

This morning my friend Debby called around for morning tea. She is easy to chat to and didn’t leave until 1pm. I should have offered lunch but didn’t realise it was so late. That means I didn’t get back to my gardening but we did a walk this evening. It was almost dark and 10 degrees but felt much colder. Yesterday it was 6 degrees and with sun and no wind almost felt like summer. The sun makes such a difference. 

I’m onto the last bit of my book so reading will be next on the agenda tonight. We will have left over tuna bake for dinner. It was yummy and I couldn’t believe all the comments about my blip of plain old pasta. 

Happy Friday the 13th everyone, it has been a good one for me.

PS I got my shoe on today and did the lace up. Now that IS progress.
